Pink Ribbon Walk 2015

[Media Invite]

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) we were looking forward to participating in the annual Pink Ribbon Walk organized by Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF). Breast cancer doesn't only affect females, for when it strikes, it affects everyone in the family. Although uncommon, it does affect males as well. Hence it is very important that everyone is aware that early detection is key.

It was too hazy and it drove the whole family bonkers!
The Pink Ribbon Walk 2015 was supposed to take place around the Marina Bay area but it was cancelled in the end due to the hazy conditions on that afternoon. Despite that, many supporters of the cause still made their way done to the Marina Bay Event Square and took part in the many activities such as temporary tattoos and trampoline yoga in a carnival-like setting.

The girls knew the Winx Fairies would be around and got ready with their own wings too!
We queued up twice so that the kiddos would be able to get one tattoo each, on both arms!
Trying out the trampoline too!
Cosplayers from 501st Singapore Garrison also turned up at the carnival, much to the amusement and delight of kids and adults alike. Needless to say, the 3 kiddos stalked the friendly forces and requested for photos after photos.

Leroy got carried by Spidey again, this time in pink!
Very obliging troopers!
The girls turned fangirls too!
Look at Stacci hugging his legs!
Steffi the poser!
More photos of the event taken by yours truly can be found here. Check out BCF website for more information. Remember, early detection can save lives, and breasts.
